Job Responsibilities

• Day-to-day, conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests and review alerts, industry news, threat intelligence, and security data.

• Actively hunts for threats that have made their way into the network, as well as unknown vulnerabilities and security gaps.

• When a major incident occurs, to team up with Analyst in responding and containing it.

 

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, computer engineering or information assurance, typically combined with certifications like CISSP.

• Security engineers with knowledge in SOAR & SIEM platforms is an added advantage.

• Previous work experience with basic scripting, JavaScript or Python.

• Understanding how modern software architecture works (client-server, Web technology, micro-services).

• Minimum 1 year experience in security information and/or technology engineering support experience.

• Basic knowledge in system security architecture and security solutions.

• Basic knowledge in cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong programming experience solving technical challenges.

• Knowledgeable in wide range of security tools to support the SOC and SIEM/SOAR.

• Fluent in oral and written English.

• Possess good presentation skills.
